Job description
The role
We are looking for a Solution Architect who can create the overall vision and strategy for a specific solution to a business problem or need.
You will design, describe, and manage the solution, acting as a bridge between a business problem or need and the technology solution, outlining each of the phases and requirements to make the solution work. You will help both potential and existing customers to understand and implement their own internal solutions using Mia-Platform products.
Activities
Working with potential and existing customers to understand their needs in order to outline how Mia-Platform solutions can drive their digital transformation
Guiding customers in reducing cloud-native complexity, establishing architecture guidelines, and simplifying infrastructure management through our Internal Developer Portal (IDP)
Designing modern software architectures for customer Digital Platforms using core runtime components (e.g., Fast Data, API Gateway, Backoffice, Flow Manager)
Assisting customer engineering teams in designing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions by leveraging Mia-Care’s dedicated frameworks and Mia-Platform’s developer tools
Defining and implementing hands-on POCs using our platform to solve real customer challenges
Collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Delivery and Sales teams to bring market feedback into the continuous evolution of our product suite
Working closely with Mia-Care partners to support them in defining scalable, high-quality architectures for clients
Job requirements
Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Cloud-Native technologies (Kubernetes, Microservices, API Management) and modern software lifecycle practices
Understanding of DevOps methods, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation tools
Proven track record in designing and delivering custom enterprise software solutions
Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and complex tech, running hands-on POCs, untangling client constraints, and winning over technical stakeholders
Excellent relationship-building skills with both business and technical peers
Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
A passionate, curiosity-driven learner who enjoys reverse engineering legacy setups and staying ahead of technological trends (AI, Data Fabric, etc.)
Nice to Have: knowledge or previous exposure to the medical device/health-tech regulatory framework (e.g. ISO 13485, IEC 62304) is considered a plus
